EVART MICHIGAN’s Main Street Independence Parade

If you’re looking for a small town pride celebration, the Main Street Independence Parade in Evans, Michigan, is the place to be. This 11 am parade celebrates independence while showcasing the pride and spirit of the local community. Hundreds of paradegoers were sent running as dozens of bullets struck them. The bullets left a trail of abandoned items and disrupted everyday life. One person was shot in the ear while another was hit in the leg. A sixth victim was not immediately identified by the Lake County coroner.
